Frequently Asked
Questions
Soft washing isn't the same as pressure washing, and that matters for your home. Here are the questions homeowners ask us most. Don't see yours? Send us a message and we'll get back to you within a few hours.
What's the difference between power washing and soft washing?
Power washing uses high pressure (2,000 to 4,000 PSI) and works best on hard surfaces like concrete, brick and metal. Soft washing uses low pressure (around 100 PSI, similar to a garden hose) combined with specialized cleaning agents. Soft wash is the right method for stucco, painted siding, roofs and anything that could be damaged by force. Read our full breakdown of soft washing vs. pressure washing for more details on which method your home needs.
Is soft washing safe for my landscaping and pets?
Yes. We use heavily diluted, plant-safe detergents and pre-wet surrounding landscaping before, during and after the wash. Pets should stay indoors during the cleaning, but everything we use breaks down naturally and won't harm grass, plants or trees.
Do you remove algae and rust stains?
Yes. We treat algae at the root so it stays gone longer instead of just rinsing the surface, and we use a dedicated rust removal treatment that breaks down and lifts orange sprinkler and metal stains rather than just lightening them.
How quickly can you come out?
Most quotes get scheduled within 48 hours of being accepted. We also offer same-day service for properties across our service area when there's an opening. Just call or text, we'll let you know.
How much does a soft wash cost?
Every property is different, pricing depends on square footage, surface type and how much algae/mildew has built up. We give you a clear, no-surprise price before we start, and the quote is always free. See our full guide to soft washing cost in Southern California for typical pricing ranges.
Why do you specialize in soft washing?
Most homes in Southern California have stucco, painted siding, or tile roofs, surfaces that get damaged by high pressure. Soft washing cleans deeper because the chemistry kills algae and mildew at the root, not just blasts the surface. Learn more about how high pressure damages stucco and why soft wash is the safer choice. Results last 4-6ร longer, and your home doesn't get harmed in the process.
Is soft washing safe for stucco and painted surfaces?
Yes. Soft washing uses low pressure, around 100 PSI, plus a cleaning solution that does the work, so it lifts algae and dirt without chipping stucco or stripping paint the way high pressure can. It's the right method for nearly every home exterior in Southern California.
What services do you offer?
Soft washing (house exteriors, stucco, siding, roofs), pressure washing for concrete (driveways, walkways, patios, decks), algae and rust removal, plus commercial services for HOAs and storefronts. We pick the right method for each surface, soft wash where pressure could cause damage, controlled high pressure where it's the right tool for the job.
